New paper: cost-optimal renovation in our pilot building of Castellon De La Plana (Spain)
Our partners Universidad de Sevilla, Instituto Valenciano de la Edificacion and University of Athens conducted an in-depth analysis of the work carried out in one of our HAPPEN pilot buildings: an apartment building located in Castellon De La Plana, Spain.
In a new paper published on the international peer review journal “Applied Sciences”, they illustrate the cost-optimal methodology used to determine the renovation measures that lead to the lowest life-cycle cost during the estimated economic life of the building.
The paper provides a detailed illustration of the calculation method used to determine the cost-optimal renovation solutions applied to this specific building, and of the results obtained.
