This comprehensive training programme will allow you to become an expert of the specificities of the Mediterranean area when it comes to deep renovation and energy efficiency of residential buildings. Experts from renowned institutions from several European countries will teach you how to address energy renovation through the MedZEB approach (ZEB: Zero Energy Buildings) and how to use the outputs developed by the HAPPEN project to put this approach into practice.

Presentation of the HAPPEN project and program, according to the MedZEB approach.

Presentation of the definition and process scheme of the MedZEB protocol in order to issue the VCS in the different phases.

Presentation of the reference buildings, representative climates, available renovation measures and the precalculated packages of optimal retrofitting solutions for existing buildings in the Mediterranean area.

Presentation of the innovative financial solution developed by the HAPPEN Consortium.

Presentation of the different pilots carried out in the framework of the HAPPEN project.

HAPPEN is a EU-funded project that develops and rolls out de MedZEB Approach: A tailored, holistic, transparent and adaptive strategy aimed to foster the market uptake of the deep energy retrofitting of the Mediterranean residential buildings.

HAPPEN is also a digital platform aimed to match demand and offer in the Mediterranean retrofit markets, to defragment the value and supply chains, and to support renovation actors with dedicated tools.
